Another Gala Owned Bingo Hall falls Victim to Robbery

After the robbery that happened in a Gala Bingo Club branch in Lakeside, United Kingdom just recently, another robbery hit the Gala Bingo Club, this time in Basildon.

Shocked and horrified bingo players witnessed as many as five balaclava covered suspects armed with machetes and knives as their weapon of choice, burst into the Gala Bingo Club Facility in Basildon and take an employee hostage.

One of the robbers in the group that had the hostage dragged the latter upstairs to the room where the Gala Bingo Gaming facility's revenues for the games that night were held.

After swooping all the cash in the register, the suspects ran out of the club and made their get away from the scene of the crime aboard their motorcycles.

Fortunately, no one got seriously hurt during the whole incident, whether bingo players or employees.

The person assigned to the case, Det. Con Neil Hudson from Pitsea CID said that the ordeal have been traumatic for the employee who was the hostage of the criminals during the whole ordeal. Authorities are still investigating the case as of press time.
